A little over a month ago, one of my favourite humans made her very own human! Baby R (affectionately known to me as little bean) made his grand appearance Earthside in May 2021. Feeling grateful for triple-layer masks, vaccines, and a 50mm lens that allowed me to capture some peaceful moments at their family home and at a nearby walking trail.

After getting some cuddles in the nursery, it was time to take things back outside. A local walking trail proved to be perfect for the occasion.

One thing to disclose: I'm terrified of ticks. Absolutely petrified. But one look at these faces made crouching in tall grass entirely worthwhile.

Sweet boy, for all the things my hands have held, the best by far is you.
